Adam Merchant has spent nine seasons turning League Zero into his personal overtaking lane, with 18 wins and 32 podiums from 49 starts. His 7293 iRating and P5.4 average finish confirm he is monstrously quick, while gaining nearly a place per race suggests qualifying is merely where he parks before the violence begins. Recent results of P1, P2, P15, P1 and P3 make him a serial winner interrupted by one magnificent bout of incompetence. The only thing faster than Merchant is his incident counter—7.2 per race—but when the wreckage settles, he is usually standing on the podium looking smug.
