You’d think a man boasting 14 podium finishes and an average of 8.7 on the results sheet would be all smiles, but let’s not forget those 6.7 “mishaps” he racks up each time he rattles round the circuit. Still, kudos must be paid: he starts around ninth and usually ends up just a bit further forward, forever threatening to remind everyone why he belongs at the sharp end of the grid. Underestimate him at your peril, unless you fancy choking on his exhaust fumes.
